Zachary Police Department Communications Division

The Zachary Police Department Communications Division is dedicated to providing outstanding service to the citizens of this community. The process of screening and prioritizing calls for assistance and accurately dispatching to suit the public's specific needs is the foundation of our daily duties. Our communications center is linked via computer network to the East Baton Rouge Sherriff Office, Baton Rouge City Police, Baker Police, EMS and Baton Rouge Fire in an effort to promote inter-operability between agencies and to maximize our ability to provide prompt and effective service. Furthermore we have implemented the latest radio technology to better serve the community. The communications division is currently staffed with eight full time Post Certified communications officers.
